Didn't like the course. You just can't use such hight level solution as clerk in education purposes. Author could go in nutshell that there is such a tool if you want for auth, but in the course you need to create auth from scratch, show how it works inside.

It uses Pages router and not "App" router, nor uses any of those new server-components offered in Nextjs v13 or v14 as far as I can see. It still works without any issues though. You can try upgrading to v14 yourself slowly or wait for developer to do so.
