Dear participants,

As we have learned, most of you are generally fine with waiting for the next course stream instead of requesting a refund. Only two users asked for a refund, and we have already processed it.

Earlier, we had already initiated 13 refunds to credit cards, and unfortunately, this process cannot be stopped at this stage. We will create an additional thread a bit later to clarify everything smoothly.

For those who have already paid and have not yet received their refund, you will not be asked to pay again for the course contribution.

Как нам стало известно, большинство из вас в целом не против подождать следующего потока курса вместо возврата средств. Только два пользователя запросили возврат, и мы его уже обработали.

Ранее мы уже запустили 13 возвратов на кредитные карты, и остановить этот процесс сейчас, к сожалению, невозможно. Позже мы создадим отдельную тему, чтобы провести процесс максимально гладко.

Для тех, кто уже оплатил и не получил возврат, повторно вносить оплату, конечно, не потребуется.

Out of curiosity, how do you decide which courses gets crowdfunded? Can a member submit a course for crowdfunding?

Please, You can read this in FAQ section here. For now, user's can't create campaigns, but it can be changed in the future.

I'm curious, what's the incentive to crowdfund if everybody gets access to course? Maybe add a 60-90 days delay for crowdfunded course being accessible to non-participants/regular members. This will force more people to participate and crowdfunding price per person will be lower too. What do you think admin?

Thanks for the suggestion - we understand where it’s coming from.

However, adding restrictions like delayed access for non-backers wouldn’t really help the platform. In fact, it would likely lead to frustration and negativity toward the team, and that’s not the direction we want to take. Our goal is to grow in a democratic and community-driven way, not through artificial limitations.

Right now, about 30 people are coming together to bring this course to the platform, and that’s something we deeply appreciate. Tomorrow, a different group of people might come together to fund another course - and that’s how we move forward, together.

Crowdfunding gives the community a real opportunity to bring specific content to life. If a course doesn’t get funded, it likely means it’s just not a high enough priority for the community at the moment - and that’s okay too.

So if you care about a course and are able to contribute, we invite you to do so. You’re helping shape the platform for everyone.
